Substitution Policy
Please be aware that the availability of containers and flower varieties/colours may vary throughout the year. We will endeavour to fulfil your preferences, however, if we can’t, another suitable container or flower variety/colour will be used and produced to the same value.

Cancellation Policy
While it is undesirable; we understand that circumstances may arise where an order may need to be cancelled. The following conditions apply with cancellations:
- 24hours notification: Prior to the requested delivery day will receive a refund less a $15 administration fee.
- Less than 24hours notification: Prior to the requested delivery day will receive a refund less 50% of the total order value (minimum $20 administration fee applies)
- We are unable to cancel orders that have already been produced.

Quality Assurance
At The Blu Tulip we pride ourselves on the quality of our products and services. We use the best quality flowers and guarantee the freshness. In order to assist you with the longevity and enjoyment of your flowers, we have included a "Fresh Flower Care" guide to help you through the maintenance process.
Unfortunately, once we dispatch our orders a number of changes in condition may result in their longevity being reduced. It is important to remember that fresh flowers are perishable and will react to immediate changes in conditions.
Guidelines for care instructions must be followed (see Fresh Flower Care) in order to enhance the life span of the flowers. Air conditioning, extreme heat or changes in climate may also have an adverse effect on the flowers.

Delivery Policy
We offer a delivery service with all orders from The Blu Tulip.
- Delivery Guaranteed - before 5pm for business addresses and 7pm for residential addresses on the requested day.
- Outside Metropolitan Area - orders MUST be received before 10am on the day prior to the requested delivery day .
- All orders placed on line on Saturday after 12noon and at any time on Sunday will be processed on the following Monday morning.
- Recipient "Not at Home" : The Blu Tulip is not responsible for deliveries if the recipient is not at the location at the time of delivery. As the customer, please make sure that the recipient will be at the location on the date given on the order.
If the recipient is not at the location when the delivery is made, the courier will leave a "not at home" card at the recipient’s location. The "not at home" card explains the situation and asks the recipient to contact the courier or The Blu Tulip. We will do our best to deliver the gift at a later date if the recipient replies to the "not at home" card.
Additional delivery fees may apply if we need to deliver the gift more than once. Alternatively, the recipient may need to collect the order from The Blu Tulip.
- Non-Delivery: The Blu Tulip will try their best to deliver any gift but we do not guarantee the delivery of any gift if one of the following occurs:
- Recipient refuses to accept delivery of the gift
- Address provided is incorrect
- Occupants are not at the location and do not respond to the "not at home" card left by our courier.
If one of these instances occurs, we may judge that the delivery has been made.
- Additional delivery options are available through The Blu Tulip as follows:
- Same Day Delivery
- Monday to Friday
- Saturday
- Sunday
- Morning or Afternoon time preference
- Funeral or Time Specific Deliveries
- Saturday Deliveries
- Sunday Deliveries
While every effort is made to meet the specified delivery preferences, these additional options are not guaranteed in every circumstance. Please follow the guidelines and requirements below and if there are any circumstances where delivery preferences cannot be met, we will contact you as soon as possible.

ADDITIONAL DELIVERY OPTIONS:
Same Day Delivery
Monday to Friday:
- We offer our customers a same day delivery service providing the order is received before 10am on the requested delivery day .
- Deliveries will be guaranteed before 5pm for business addresses and before 7pm for residential addresses.
- It is often possible to deliver the same day for orders received after 10am particularly if the delivery address is within close proximity to The Blu Tulip. Additional charges may apply; however, we will contact you if this is the case. If we cannot make contact with you, the order will be sent out and the additional fees applied to the total delivery fee.
- For orders received after 10am , if we cannot deliver the same day, the order will be delivered on the following day. If you do not want this to happen, please specify a cancellation note in the delivery instructions space provided.
Saturday:
- It is often possible to deliver the same day on Saturday providing the order is received before 10am on the requested delivery day .
- Saturday same day delivery however, cannot be guaranteed.
- If same day delivery is not possible, we will contact you for notification.
Sunday:

Morning / Afternoon Time Preference
We offer our customers the opportunity to nominate a morning / afternoon preferred time of delivery.
- Morning preferred deliveries : Order MUST be received by 12noon on the day prior to the requested delivery day. Morning preferred deliveries will be delivered at any time before 12noon on the requested day.
- Monday morning preferred deliveries : Orders MUST be received before 12noon on Saturday. This also applies to Tuesday morning deliveries when a Public Holiday falls on the Monday (see our list of local Public Holidays).
- Afternoon preferred deliveries : Order MUST be received by 5pm on the day prior to the requested delivery day. Afternoon preferred deliveries will be delivered at any time in the afternoon before 5pm for business addresses and 7pm for residential addresses.
For orders received after the cut off times, we will endeavour to meet your preference specified, however, this cannot be guaranteed – the order will be delivered as close to your preference as possible.

Funeral or Time Specific Deliveries
We offer our customers the opportunity to nominate Funeral or Time Specific Deliveries; however, we cannot guarantee this service.
- To avoid disappointment, please place all orders with time restrictions at least 48 hours prior to the requested delivery day.
- Additional delivery fees apply in non-standard delivery preferences. These fees will be charged in addition to the standard delivery fee.
- After 4pm Monday - Friday $3.00
- After 3pm Saturday $2.50
- Funeral Service $2.50
- Other Time Specific Deliveries $2.50
If orders cannot be met for any of these options, one of our team members will contact you as soon as possible for notification.

Saturday Deliveries
- We offer our customers a Saturday delivery service providing the order is received before 4pm on Friday .
- Deliveries will be guaranteed before 5pm on Saturdays.
- It is often possible to deliver on Saturday for orders received after 4pm Friday, particularly if the delivery address is within close proximity to The Blu Tulip. Additional charges may apply; however, we will contact you if this is the case. If we cannot make contact with you, the order will be sent out and the additional fees applied to the total delivery fee.
- For orders received after 10am , if we cannot deliver the same day, the order will be delivered on the following Monday (or Tuesday if a public holiday falls on the Monday). If you do not want this to happen, please specify a cancellation note in the delivery instructions space provided. One of our team members will contact you for notification of changed delivery days.
- Any order with time specifications of delivery after 3pm on Saturday will have a $2.50 surcharge applied.

Sunday Deliveries
- We offer our customers the opportunity to nominate Sunday Deliveries; however, we cannot guarantee this service.
- To avoid disappointment, please place all Sunday delivery orders before 5pm on the Wednesday prior to the requested delivery day.
- Additional delivery fees apply for Sunday delivery preferences. These fees will be charged in addition to the standard delivery fee.
- Time specific deliveries $2.50
(I.e. If a Time specific delivery is booked for a Sunday the total extra delivery fee is $8.50)
If orders cannot be delivered on the Sunday, one of our team members will contact you as soon as possible for notification.
